Curriculum Vitae

Alper DOĞANALP received the B.Sc. (Honors degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering) from the Higher Technological Institute (recently renamed as the Eastern Mediterranean University) in the North Cyprus in 1985, the M.Sc. degree from the Technical University of Istanbul in 1988 and the Ph.D. degree from the Eastern Mediterranean University in 2003. He worked as a research assistant in the Electronic and Communication Engineering Department of the Technical University of Istanbul for 3 years. From 1990 to 2003, Dr. Doğanalp worked as a senior lecturer in the Electric and Electronic Technology of EMU. He served as the vice director for 2 years in the School of Computing and Technology. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Electric and Electronic Technology of EMU.

He supervised so far more than 50 practical industrial electronic and control projects. He developed experimental laboratory instruments and manuals for Electronics and Industrial Electronic courses at the Electric and Electronic Technology of EMU. 

 

His research interests are mainly supervisory control theory, linear and nonlinear systems control and power electronics and programmable logic controllers.

He is a member of the Chamber of Electrical Engineers in N. Cyprus.
