Course Description: This course covers the characteristics of various instructional technologies, the place and use of technologies in instructional process; development, design, use and integration of teaching materials through instructional technologies that facilitate and enhance learning and meet instructional goals.
Objectives: The subject is designed to help learners develop broad knowledge in integrating ICTs to language instruction. In this respect, upon the completion of the course students will be able to
- identify the characteristics of 21st century teachers and learners,
- integrate technology and media into instruction,
- design and develop an e-learning environment using Web 2.0 tools,
- enhance teaching and learning process with multimedia.
