Nilgün Suphi received her Office Management Pitmans
Qualifications from Richmond Upon Thames College, UK, her BA (Hons) in Business
Administration from the European University of Lefke, Master of Business
Administration (MBA) and Ph.D. in Educational Sciences from the Eastern
Mediterranean University, North Cyprus. After working in the fields of
banking, importing, manufacturing and trade, health and education as a
Professional Executive Secretary and Administrator she joined the Office
Management Department in the School of Computing and Technology (EMU) as a
Lecturer, then as a Coordinator and later as a faculty member. Alongside
her teaching duties she worked in the Institutional Development and
International Academic Affairs Office under the Rector as a Coordinator.
Her research interests include teaching methods, deep, strategic and
surface learning, self-efficacy, locus of control, factors affecting academic
success, happiness, and brain based learning.
