FALL 18-19 MENG245 G2 FINAL EXAM GRADES
MENG245 Quiz 3 will be on 27 th December 2018 Thursday at 15:30 pm. Quiz topics: Second Law and Entropy.
MENG245 Lab 3 - Take Home Experiment: Submission deadline is 28 th December 2018 Friday at 5 pm. Please submit the report to Asst. Gorkem Ozankaya. Late submissions will not be accepted. You could download the lab handout via the link provided below.
FALL 18-19 MENG245 G2 MIDTERM GRADES
About Midterm Examination (Fall 18-19):
Midterm Examination will consists of 2 Parts.
Part A will be multiple choice type of questions covering all topics; including general knowledge on fundemental laws, units, principles of open and closed systems also some basic calculation based questions on pressure systems, pure substances, closed and open systems.
Part B will be consist of 4 questions including pure substances, P-v & T-v diagrams, closed systems and open systems
Exam will be a closed book session and you could have 1(single) side of formula sheet with you. No definitions, units or diagrams are allowed on the formula sheets. Formula sheets should be your own handwriting. Copies will not be allowed.
You should bring your own Thermodynamics property tables. No tables will be provided. Please also bring your calculator as well.

Midterm 2 Results
MENG245 G2 QUIZ 4 WILL BE ON 27TH DECEMBER WEDNESDAY 2017.
Exp 3 (Take home experiment) handout is added to the site. Please download the handout via the link below. Completed reports should be submitted to lab assistant Gorkem Ozankaya. Submission due date is 26th December Tuesday 2017, 5:00pm. Late submissions will not be accepted.
2017-2018 Fall MENG245 G2: Quiz 3 and Lab 2 will take place on 6th December 2017 at 14:30 and 16:30 respectively
2017-18 Fall MENG245 Midterm I Announcement
Formula sheets will not be allowed in Midterm I. Please do not bring any prepared notes, formula sheets etc. to the exam.
Each Student should bring his/her own thermodynamic property table to the Midterm I. No thermodynamic property table will be provided for the exam. The place to get the property tables has announced on the department TV screen.
