The Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Computer Center Directorate has been providing CISCO Systems Networking Academy Training for the last 15 years. EMU Network Manager and Networking Academy Representative / Instructor Yusuf Küçük had previously obtained the “Academy Curriculum Excellence”, “Instructor Excellence Expert” and “15 Years Academy Service” awards. Küçük recently obtained an Instructor Trainer Qualification (ITQ) certificate after sitting an exam under the supervision of İstanbul CISCO Systems’ Middle East Technical Manager.

An Important First

With this certificate EMU earned the right to deliver CCNA Instructor Training for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and other countries in the region. Therefore, in addition to CISCO Networking Academy CISCO Education, EMU can now provide Academy Support Center (ASC) and Instructor Training Center (ITC) service to countries other than the TRNC. In a statement released concerning the latest developments, EMU Computer Center Director Aytaç Çerkez stated that they will be starting their CCNA Instructor Training courses in the new academic semester and highlighted that this is a first in the TRNC. Çerkez underlined that they will continue to deliver the newest content to EMU and the whole of the TRNC.
