Seminars

Together with my current and former MSc/PhD students, I organise regular (weekly) research seminars.

Every Tuesday afternoon, we gather in the room AS-MATLIB1 (some joining online) and at least 1-2 people give talks.
The "talk" can be a presentation with slides, or just writing on the board. It can show research results, or what you've been working on trying to do, or just what you've been reading recently. This is informal: no need to show a big result every time, just to make sure you're always doing something.
Last year, we required that every current student should give at least one talk per month, barring exceptional circumstances.
