Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Faculty of Engineering, Department of Industrial Engineering graduate Aslıhan Bakırlı Millet continues to be source of pride for the EMU with her outstanding achievements in her career. Millet, currently serving as the IT and Data Portfolio and Methods Manager at the globally recognized French company Danone, highlights that the high-quality education she received at EMU was a key factor in the success she has achieved in her career.

Noting that the knowledge and skills she had acquired during her 4-year studies at EMU has provided her a solid start in the professional platform, Millet said; “EMU did not only provided me with academic knowledge, it also played a critical role in developing my critical thinking, problem solving and effective communication skills. These skills guided me in every stage of my career”.
Millet shared that EMU’s international environment and the social opportunities it provided were crucial to her personal growth and stated, “EMU not only gave me a solid academic foundation, but also offered an international setting where I could connect with people from various cultures, establish a network, and create lasting friendships. I am thankful to my university and professors”. Reflecting on her four years at EMU, Millet described them as, “Demanding effort, but equally enjoyable”.
