Research Activities

My research activities encompass a wide range of topics within the fields of signal processing, communication systems, and intelligent detection. My work specifically focuses on the fundamental theory and diverse applications of these areas.

A core part of my research involves signal processing, detection, and estimation. This extends into multiuser communication and various facets of wireless communication, including the development of advanced adaptive channel estimation and fuzzy channel estimation techniques. I also specialize in robust multiuser detection techniques and the intricacies of digital video broadcasting (DVB). A significant area of interest is mmWave communication techniques, particularly concerning their performance and challenges in real-world scenarios.

Furthermore, my research delves into network security, specifically intrusion detection in mobile ad-hoc networks (MANETs), employing sophisticated machine learning approaches. I also investigate MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) communication and OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing) systems, focusing on enhancing their efficiency, reliability, and performance in complex wireless environments. This work is significantly complemented by my role in supervising numerous PhD and MSc students, guiding their research in these specialized areas.
