EMU is The Best in Cyprus

The Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) has once again proven that it is the best university on the island. EMU has been ranked first in the Cypriot University Rankings compiled by the Sydney, Australia-based world university ranking centre uniRank. A total of 43 higher education institutions were included in the said rankings. This is EMU’s latest success after featuring on Times Higher Education and ShanghaiRanking lists.

Rather than using data provided by universities, uniRank used valid and unbiased web metrics provided by independent web information sources to form a non-academic league table of the best Cypriot universities. EMU is at the top of the 2019 Cypriot University Rankings compiled according uniRank criteria.  In the same rankings, EMU is followed by the University of Cyprus and the University of Nicosia from South Cyprus.
