IMPORTANT NOTE 1:
ABOUT MAKE-UP EXAMS:

TO USE YOUR MAKE-UP EXAM RIGHT, YOU HAVE TO SUBMIT YOUR DOCTOR REPORT TO THE SECRETARY WITHIN THE 3 DAYS AFTER AN EXAM DAY. 

In addition, rules for MAKEUP exams:

• CHEAT SHEET will NOT BE allowed during any make-up exam.

• You ARE responsible for ALL chapters.

ABOUT TERM PROJECTS:

• THERE IS NO ANY MAKE-UP FOR PROJECT PRESENTATIONS, AND NO ANY POSTPONEMENT.
  

• STUDENTS SHOULD ATTEND AND BE READY ON TIME TO PERFORM THEIR TERM PRJ PRESENTATION.

📜 “Eastern Mediterranean University Rules and Regulations for Undergraduate Studies and Examinations” regarding the Course Attendance Requirements (NG):

⚠️ “NG” Nil Grade / Failure Due to Non-Attendance:

The “NG” grade is awarded to a student who fails to meet the course attendance requirements and the conditions essential for course assessment. This grade is assigned by the Academic Staff of the relevant course based on the criteria set by the Faculty/School Boards.

Students who receive an “NG” grade are not eligible to take the make-up examination for that course. If it is determined in advance that a student will receive an “NG” grade, they may also be barred from sitting for the final exam.

👥 Students' Course Attendance Obligation:

A student who exceeds the absenteeism limits set by the Faculty/School Boards or fails to fulfill the essential assessment requirements for the course is deemed to have failed that course.

However, in courses that are being repeated due to other academic reasons (excluding the NG grade), attendance is not mandatory.

Courses repeated due to receiving an “NG” grade are not included in this exemption and are subject to attendance requirements.

📌 NG Grade Policy in This Course:

1️⃣ First-Time Enrollment

If you are taking the course for the first time and if you miss 50% of the attendance for the lectures, you will get an “NG” grade.

2️⃣ Repeated Enrollment

If you are not taking the course for the first time and if you miss the midterm and the final exam, you will get an “NG” grade.

IMPORTANT NOTE 4: 

ABOUT TERM PROJECTS:

• IF YOUR REPORTS (PPM, SRS, OR FINAL) OR YOUR SOURCE CODES ARE PRODUCED BY ANY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE EDITOR (e.g. CHATGPT OR OTHERS), YOUR REPORTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND WILL BE CONSIDERED AS A COPY.
• ALSO, A ZERO GRADE WILL BE GIVEN TO ALL TEAM MEMBERS.
• TEAM LEADERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CHECKING THEIR REPORTS AND MAKING SURE THE REPORTS (PPM, SRS, OR FINAL) HAVE NOT BEEN CREATED BY ANY AI CONTENT EDITOR BEFORE SUBMITTING.
• LEADERS CAN USE THE TURNITIN TOOL OR ANY OTHER AI SCORE CHECK TOOL ON THE WEB FOR THIS STEP.
• THERE ARE MANY YOUTUBE MATERIALS ABOUT HOW TO GET AI SCORE OF A DOCUMENT ON THE TURNITIN/OTHER AI SCORE CHECK TOOLS. PLS FIND PROPER VIDEOS ABOUT IT, WATCH, APPLY, AND LEARN.
