TERM PROJECT: TOOLS, DEADLINES & ANNOUNCEMENTS

Tool Usage Policy:

Reports: Use Microsoft Word for all report submissions.
UML Diagrams: Create UML graphs using Modelio or MS Visio only.
UI Designs: Design user interfaces exclusively with Figma, Adobe XD, or Proto.io.
Project Management: Manage your project timeline and tasks with MS Project.

✅ Installation Guidance: You can download the required tools and installation guides from our cd server. Make sure to have all tools set up properly before Week 3.

Week 3:

Last day to send a mail about your team member details and selected topic to the assistant! (ebtihal.enfes@emu.edu.tr)

ln the subject of your mail: you should write (SPRING 25-26+ CMSE 322 + PROJECT TITLE+ TEAM MEMBER DETAILS)

Week 6:

27 MARCH 2026 until 16.00

*Assignment Stage 2:

SUBMISSION OF PROJECT PLAN REPORT (%10)

SEND YOUR PPM REPORT TO THE ASSISTANT!

Week 11:

30 APRIL 2026 until 16.00

*Assignment Stage 3:

SUBMISSION OF SRS & SDS REPORTS + A PRESENTATION (%15)

OUTPUTS: (2 REPORTS +1 PPT -15 mins + 1 presentation video)

Send: (Your SRS- SDS Reports + PPT by mail) + (your presentation video file from MS teams)

1) Presentation (a ppt) - MAX 15 mins, all group members SHOULD talk. Prepare a professional video with a maximum duration of 15 minutes. You may use MS Teams to record your video. To do so, start a meeting and enable recording. The leader will then send the recorded video as a message via MS Teams.

2) In your presentation, include the following: Project Scope & Aim, Functional and Non-Functional Requirements, All UML Diagrams (detailed explanation), Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs), FIGMA UI Designs, Logical & Physical Database Designs, and other relevant diagrams and documentation.

3)Send your SRS & SDS reports as WORD files + PPT File via email directly to me (duygu.celik@emu.edu.tr). Do not send them to your course assistant. Attach the files to your email; do not send them as a cloud file link.

4) ln the subject of your mail: you should write (SPRING 25-26+ CMSE 322 + SRS & SDS+ project name + team members names)

5) Late submissions will get 0.

6) The team leader should responsible to send the SRS and SDS repors to me before their presentation day.

Week 15:

29 MAY 2026 until 16.00

*Assignment Stage 4:

SUBMISSION OF FINAL REPORT + A PRESENTATION (%15)

OUTPUTS: (1 REPORT +1 PPT -15 mins + 1 presentation video)

Send: (Your FINAL Report + PPT by mail) + (your presentation video file from MS teams)

1) Presentation (a ppt) - MAX 15 mins, all group members SHOULD talk. Prepare a professional video with a maximum duration of 15 minutes. You may use MS Teams to record your video and share screen during ppt+running your demo. To do so, start a meeting and enable recording. The leader will then send the recorded video as a message via MS Teams.

2) During presentation:
Create a single video (maximum 15 minutes) that includes the following:
Project Aim
Key Actors
Tools Used
Main Modules
UI Designs
1–2 Test Cases Applied
Algorithms Used (if any), etc...
Demo (approximately 5 minutes)
Demo Guidelines:
One or two students can explain the demo.
They should showcase the main functionality along with the corresponding code. These students should also be involved in other parts of the presentation. Important: All content — both the presentation and the demo — must be included in one single video.
