TERM PROJECT: TOOLS, DEADLINES & ANNOUNCEMENTS

Tool Usage Policy:

  • Reports: Use Microsoft Word for all report submissions.
  • UML Diagrams: Create UML graphs using Modelio or MS Visio only.
  • UI Designs: Design user interfaces exclusively with FigmaAdobe XD, or Proto.io.
  • Project Management: Manage your project timeline and tasks with MS Project.

✅ Installation Guidance: You can download the required tools and the installation guidelines of the REQUIRED tools from our CD server. Make sure to have all tools set up properly before Week 3.

Important: In the given project, programming and demo are not mandatory, but it is mandatory to prepare and present detailed outputs for the following: project planning, requirement analysis, system design (including UML), user interface design (e.g., wireframes or mockups), and software test plans....

SUBMISSION OF PROJECT PLAN -PPM REPORT (%10)

Week 10:

28 NOVEMBER 2025 until 16.00

*Assignment Stage 3: 

SUBMISSION OF a SRS WORD REPORT + a PPT + a VIDEO (%15)

OUTPUTS: (1 WORD REPORT + 1 PPT FILE+ 1 presentation video—15 mins)

RULES: SEND (Your SRS report and PPT Files by mail—directly attach them—DON'T send a cloud 
link) + (15 mins your presentation VIDEO + TEAM/PROJECT/COURSE/SEMESTER Details SEND from MS teams messaging)

1) Presentation (a ppt) - MAX 15 mins, all TEAM members SHOULD talk and SHOW his/her FACE. Prepare a professional video with a maximum duration of 15 minutes. You may use MS Teams to record your video. To do so, start a meeting and enable recording. The leader will then send the recorded video as a message via MS Teams.

2) In your presentation, include the following: Project Scope & Aim, Actors, Functional and Non-Functional Requirements, All UML Diagrams (detailed explanation), FIGMA UI Designs, Database Designs, and other relevant diagrams and documentation.

4) ln the subject of your mail or MS teams messages,

5) Late submissions will get 0.

6) The team leader should be responsible to send the SRS and PPT files before their presentation day.

Week 13:

15 DECEMBER 2025 until 16.0

*Assignment Stage 4:

SUBMISSION OF  FINAL REPORT + A PPT + A VIDEO (%15)

OUTPUTS: (1 REPORT + 1 PPT + 1 presentation video—15 mins)

Send: (Your FINAL report + PPT Files by mail—directly attach them—DON'T send a CLOUD link) + (15 mins your presentation) VIDEO + TEAM/PROJECT/COURSE/SEMESTER DETAILS --SEND from MS teams messaging)

1) Presentation (a PPT) - MAX 15 mins, all group members SHOULD talk and SHOW his/her FACE.

2) During presentation: Create a single video (maximum 15 minutes) that includes the following:

  • Project Aim
  • Key Actors
  • Tools Used
  • Main Modules
  • UI Designs and User Guidelines
  • 2-3 Test Cases
  • Algorithms Planned to Use (if any), etc...
  • Demo (approximately 5 minutes, OPTIONAL)
Demo Guidelines:
One or two students can explain the demo, if available.
They should showcase the main functionality along with the corresponding code. These students should also be involved in other parts of the presentation. 

Important: All content—both the presentation and the demo (if available)—must be included in one single video.
